My call for kaki to go to Bangkok Rock Festival was unheard. So I guess that goes up to smoke. Besides, I checked the flight tix and it cost slightly out of my desired range. So, no go. Just sit me butt tight at home and sulk.
I was on a download frenzy yesterday night. I queued up about 20+ albums to download. I referred to Stereogum’s Top 20 Albums of 2005 for most of them that I didn’t already have. If you want a longer list, and a list of other lists, head over to Pitchfork’s.
Seeing Weezer’s We Are All on Drugs on the worst list is kinda… a good laugh. I just happen to like Weezer but that song can be irritating. But nevertheless, we are all on drugs, aren’t we? Listing Black Eyed Peas’ hump song and that lonely song by some black dude are a spot-on though. Local radio stations can be arses.
The year’s almost coming to an end, and we have an extra second added for it. Yes, scientists will actually stop the clock for a full second at midnight to re-adjust the earth clock or something like that. What can you do in a second? I can fart.
Happy New Year people. Keep rawking.

Across the North border, or the South one?
On the North, there will be Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Ian Brown (of Stone Roses), Stereophonics, Placebo, Snow Patrol. RM462. Two days of solid rock festival in Bangkok. 18th-19th February, 2006.
For RM371, you get Oasis and umm, Oasis. Down south, Singapore Indoor Stadium. 23rd February, 2006.
Anyone wanna go to Bangkok with me? Pretty please?

Sooner or later, I know this has to be done. I am aware that I have illegitimately distribute copyrighted music one point or another. I have been taking my chances all along. But soon, I may want to change the direction, again. To which direction, I have yet to decide. Perhaps something on the safer side. Perhaps something totally hardcore and get my arse sued and raped and shit furiously. But a change, there will be. Or maybe not. I’ll let you know again in a few days time.
This is a pointless post.

I suppose since it’s the end of the year, I have to come up with a Top 20 list or something? Well, I won’t be doing that. I can’t. I’ve listened far too few new albums/songs to make a top list. I’m still very much into songs from yester-years, and I got a whole lot to catch up.
That aside, and since it’s almost Christmas, I’m putting a treat for you. 5 Christmas-related songs that don’t really sound Christmas-ish at all, well maybe except for Christmastime. It really got the whole Christmas spirit thingie.
Merry Christmas people!

All downloads are in MP3 format. These songs will expire a day after Christmas.

Who are you this time?
Are you one of us flying blind?
Because I’m down here throwing stones
While you’re so far from home

So, the great Tits of Fury has decided to abandon her blog for the time being. I’ve seen the photographs. They weren’t pretty. But I hope she comes back soon. If there’s one blog I enjoy reading, it would be her’s. Her words can make you bleed from the inside and make your head spins, and yet you would come back for more.
To honour her umm, silence? I’m putting up this song.
Download: Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls (MP3 format)
