Bad news people. My bandwidth for this month alone shoot up to over 11,532.09 MB. That’s like 11 GB of bandwidth, three times as much as I’m initially allowed. I’m surprised it’s still running now.

BUT (there’s always a but to anything), the man Bruce offered me a solution I couldn’t refuse. He’s offering a 600+ MB space, with 100 GB of bandwidth worth! He’s the guy that run this host, Swifthost.net, which I’ve been sticking with for years. Great guy, great service, great host.

In the meantime, I’ll be doing some transferring of the songs to the new space. Which means you’ll be getting a few 404 errors for a while. So sit back, relax, made a cup of coffee and wait for more tracks to be upped.

I didn’t quite register the song when I first heard it. But now it’s growing on me with its straight indie-rock / slight-retro tune and riveting lyrics after a few spin. Fat chance of hearing it on our shores though.

It’s the best thing that you’ve ever had
The best thing you’ve had has gone away

A trip down memory lane. For some reason, I can not stop listening to this song (and the whole of The Bends album). It sorta fits the sombre state I am in. It’s amazing how a song can take your mind for a trip, even if it only lasted for 4 minutes. Multiply that with constant repetition and infused with the rest of the tracks from The Bends, you have a whole vacation in your mind. I’m going nuts.

It’s official, The Smashing Pumpkins are currently writing songs for their upcoming album, their first since 2000. No release date has yet been set, but the band plans to begin recording this summer.

Hate Me is getting the Hitz.FM treatment of late, and they’re pretty late at doing that. Hate Me was released like early of the year (I posted it back in February).

But anyhow, since it’s getting the repeating airplay from the local stations, I’m re-posting the song. I Google-ed this version up. It has the voice-message intro (unlike the earlier version I posted up), but it’s still censored. It’s a good song nonetheless.

I was pretty impressed the first time I heard a raw version of this demo. It was well recorded but alas, she wouldn’t allow me to post it up then. The next few days, she sent me a more polished version, which is this demo. I’m posting it regardless, because it’s fun enough to worth a mention.

The song’s in Bulgarian in case you’re wondering. It translates to “Minute”. We share the same interest, The Smashing Pumpkins. That was how I got to know her. The last time I asked her, she didn’t have a band name. I wasn’t even aware she can sing until she sent me the demo.

Give it a try. It’s poppy fun (Euro-Pop?). It’s catchy. It’s Gabby, my Bulgarian friend.
