Finally, an announcement of a worthy gig in the heart of Kuala Lumpur itself. About time too for youse hungry rock headbanging bloodsuckers.
Indie rock geeksters, We Are Scientists will be playing at Zouk KL, 9th August 2006. Ticket is priced at MYR 60. More details here or here.

If that’s not enough or mainstream rock is more for youse, then youse’ll be pleased to hear the revamped INXS, with Rock Star: INXS winner J.D. Fortune, will be playing at the Stadium Negara on 18th August 2006. No ticket pricing information available yet.

i’m coming up from singapore to catch WAS with 2 other friends. just confirmed our hotel and bus up. do you know when tickets will be available? just worried that we might miss out on tickets. i saw was in may at the sasquatch fest, they are AWESOME LIVE and very friendly in person!!
tickets are already available for sale!!
if you’re anxious about getting tickets early, you could get a friend in KL to procure them for you first
but i wouldn’t worry on missing out on the tix yet
hey thanks sweelin, yeah i just read at the KLue website…someone posted this:
“the tickets should be on sale by this Friday (21/7) at ALL Rock Corner outlets and Music Magic. Tickets will also be available at the door (Zouk) on the day”
problem is, the only friend i have in KL is currently away on bussiness!
ok i know this may sound quite dodgy but would anyone be kind enough to help get 3 tickets for me and my 2 friends? we’ve already booked our bus and hotel up so i just don’t want *touch wood* the situation of getting stuck at the door to happen! we’re totally not gonna scam you, perhaps we could pay you for the tickets at the door.
