It has been a while since I last heard of any news from our local great, the Butterfingers. So I was pretty excited to hear that Emmet was in the studio with Maya on her programme, Rock It Her Way on TraXX FM. Apparently the Butterfingers (with the full lineup I think) will have a special 2-nights-only gig end of this month, featuring songs only from their debut album, 1.2 Milligrams to celebrate its 10th anniversary. So expect a raw, head-banging gig.
If I have listened correctly (I had to tune to the station on my cellphone), here’s the schedule like:
Dates: 25th (sold out) & 26th November, 2006
Time: 4 PM, opening band is Kapal Selam
Venue: KL Jam Asia (right behind Maybank in Sri Hartamas)
Price: RM35
Anyone can share the exact details? In the meantime, enjoy some Royal Jelly.
Update 17/11/2006: Thanks to Maya for the exact updates!

Man, I love the Butterfingers! If not for them, I would still be listening to bloody backstreet boys!
First song I heard from the cassete album of Transcendece was The Chemistry. Boy, was that an inspirational song. Then I bought 1.2 miligrams and Royal Jelly sounded even better!
FYI, my current mp3 ringtone is Vio-pipe. Heheh, made it myself.
I have the same ringtone too! Maybe we can share share?
Hi Joe - thanks for linking the blog! FYI - the Butterfingers gig is on the 25th and 26th of November. The 25th gig is sold out but the 26th gig is still available. It’s at KL Jam Asia - right behind the Maybank in Sri Hartamas. Gig starts at 4 p.m. and opening band is Kapal Selam (also on the show last night). RM35 admission. Hope this helps!
he was also on clash at redfm last sunday..
only the original 3 (plus extras musicians?), as loque is away, hence songs from the first album coz it’s playable i presume with only 1 guitarist. but it should be a good showcase from one of the better bands in malaysia.
you can view the showcase photos at http://butterfingers.hafizismail.net .
the show was awsome…
Awesome photos Hafiz. Thanks for the link!
