22Emo-band Death Cab for Cutie will be releasing their new album (their 7th?), Narrow Stairs, on May 13, 2008.
The first single off the album, I Will Possess Your Heart, runs at a full 8:30 minutes. Check out the video below for the radio edit version. Or here, for the full length.
Update 17 June 2008: Alas, the once rumoured DCFC stop-by gig in Malaysia has been squashed. How about bringing in Weezer instead? Heard Rivers Coumo is an Asian-loving chap. Perhaps the organizers can persuade him by offering 300 Asian groupies, no?

21To all youse geeks out there, Weezer will be releasing a brand new self-titled album (yet again, now dubbed “The Red Album”) on June 24, 2008. The first single, to be released April 24, 2008, is this track.

12This is one supergroup reunion that I have missed out last year. X Japan, once the biggest band to come out from the land of the rising sun (Japan lah), released I.V. digitally early this year, topping the iTunes’ daily chart. It also appears on the soundtrack of the movie Saw IV.
It is no Endless Rain (one of them jiwang songs which I like, a lot), but it is still a rock epic that fits well to the name that is X Japan. Oh, and the whole song is in English. But, why?
