Apparently, Oasis released this new single digitally sometime late last month. Take a look/listen for yourself. Sounds pretty raw to me.

Was at Laundry the other night. They played these songs in between bands. They were such great memorable songs that we sang along. We got stared from the next table but we sang our hearts out. But little did I know that moment was the beginning of an end of something.

Across the North border, or the South one?

On the North, there will be Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Ian Brown (of Stone Roses), Stereophonics, Placebo, Snow Patrol. RM462. Two days of solid rock festival in Bangkok. 18th-19th February, 2006.

For RM371, you get Oasis and umm, Oasis. Down south, Singapore Indoor Stadium. 23rd February, 2006.

One quick glance on the cover and you thought it was Green Day’s American Idiot album.

Look again.

I’ve only downloaded one song, Boulevard of Broken Songs (the server’s pretty slow). It sounds like the mashed-up version of Green Day + Oasis + Travis + Eminem some time back. I don’t know how the rest of American Edit sound like. If you like Green Day (I do) and into all these remixes stuff (I don’t I actually think they’re quite good, after a few listen. Very clean and professional editing.), check it out.

Update 29/11/2005: Looks like the site is dead. Oh well…

Update 17/12/2005: The site is back up again, with new cover arts for the CD. I couldn’t find the link for the song downloads though.
